First International Bentley 8 Litre Rally, June 18-25, 2016
Team: Terry & Margaret Lister, UK, along with Andrew Sutton

"Andrew Sutton was also part of that team (he drove the 8L as Terry could not drive her because of his broken Achilles tendon). Only thanks to Andrew Sutton's last minute replacement this wonderful team and car could participate!" - Franco Weibel

Read article by Tamsin O'Brien.

Extract from article: Terry Lister from Warwickshire is here with his wife Margaret. Terry bought the car because he wanted to do some “decent rallies” – he’s subsequently done 70,000 miles in it. Despite having bust his Achilles and wearing a boot, he has come saying “he wouldn’t have missed it for the world”.

1931 8 Litre, Reg. No: GW 1571, Engine No: YX 5116, Chassis No: YX5116

Originally owned by Sir John Arnolt in the 1930's/40's, who was chairman of the Irish Times. In the I960's it was owned by Keith Schellenberg and by Tommy Black who removed the decrepit Mulliner 4-door saloon body (which is still available), and fitted the current Van den Plas replica body. Terry brought the 8 litre to South Africa in 2001 & 2006.
