Robert lost control of the domain name Vintagebentleys.org and the associated web site in 2020. Therefore in 2025 a group of Vintage Bentley owners and enthusiasts helped Robert to resuscitate the site under the new domain vintagebentleyregister.com

This site was was founded by Robert McLellan, owner of 1925 3-litre Bentley chassis 869 since 1981. A lifelong automobile hobbyist, Robert has been a vintage Bentley enthusiast for over 60 years. As Host of this website, Robert's objective is to account for every 1919-1931 Bentley ever produced and track it from back then to the present time. Robert has a roomful of vintage Bentley photographs and written material, some dating back as much as 85 years. The first batch of digitised information was presented to the vintage Bentley world via this website on February 14, 2007 and continues even now, on a daily basis.
