1931 Bentley 8 Litre 13 SEDANCA
Chassis No. YM5050
Engine No. YR5084
Registration No. VC 9
A mere 100 examples of Bentley’s 8 Liter were built before the company was acquired by Rolls Royce. This example from 1931 started life with a Sedanca De Ville body. In 1936 UL7 was purchased by one AC Clark who instructed Bentley specialist Mac McKenzie to make a huge number of specific changes to the car. Part of the change involved removing the old bodywork and replacing it with a four-seater tourer body by Corsica of London. UL7 is one of 3 McKenzie/Corsica 8 Liter Bentleys constructed.

Extract from article: Alongside the W.O car there are three other original Mulliner bodied cars all owned by Brits, an Open Sports Tourer with a Corsica body (formerly the Stanley Sedgwick car) shipped over from the US by Steve and Camilla Brauer and a very special Freestone and Webb Saloon owned by Vaughan Gaskell from Cheshire.

This car was part of a featured display of 8 Litre Bentleys. Only 100 Bentley 8 Litres were produced. Six of the remaining examples were displayed here at Meadow Brook, thought to be a quantity that may never be seen together again."
