"I purchased the car from Mr. Victor Gauntlett (of Aston Martin) in 1983 and it has been in my possession since then. The engine was completely renewed by Neil Davies Historic Racing in 2009 including a new engine block, crankshaft, crankshaft housing, rods and pistons"
