| More Info: | According to original Vanden Plas Coachbuilder records, this car was originally fitted with Body No. 1527 with a Le Mans type Sports 4-seater; 10/1928. Michael Hay, in his book Bentley: The Vintage Years, 1997, states: "D/7157. Vanden Plas body no. 1527. "Le Mans type chassis. Duplicate piping." Reg V6 for many years. Reg XV 631 on ch. NR 516. Accident 1/30 - new f/axle bed." |
