| More Info: | According to original Vanden Plas Coachbuilder records, this car was originally fitted with Body No. 1426 with a Sports 4-seater; Weymann fabric blue/black/blue; 3/1928. Michael Hay, in his book Bentley: The Vintage Years, 1997, states: "D/7014. Vanden Plas body no. 1426. Experimental clutch 1928 - owned by Barnato. Rebuilt on new frames 7/30 and 3/34. Salvaged by Bentley Motors Ltd after accident July 1934." |
