| More Info: | According to original Vanden Plas Coachbuilder records, this car was originally fitted with Body No. 1485 with a Sports 4-seater; Weymann fabric /black body. Car was delivered in June 1928. But Vanden Plas also recorded in 1930 that the same chassis was fitted with Body No. 1651 with a 4-seater Sports; green body. Michael Hay, in his book Bentley: The Vintage Years, 1997, states: "D/7086. Vanden Plas body no. 1485. Believed removed and replaced by Vanden Plas 4 seater body no. 1651 March 1930 - �25 allowed for old body. Eng TX 3233 in ch. FB 3307." |
