"These photographs are from a collection of negatives from a private album which I acquired on eBay some years ago. The annotation on the negative file for both is 'D.S.'s Bentley'. The location is the Earl of Galloway's estate at Cumloden near Newton Stewart in Dumfries & Galloway. From other photos in the collection, the date would appear to be circa 1931."
