"I thank you for sending me the March 2018 newsletter.
I’m currently the proud owner of chassis ST3017, engine FB3313. The Bentley Drivers Club could provide a history of the car until 1939, then from April 1953 to 1976. Since then the car has been in our family, bought in 1976 by my father-in-law in Scotland from Mr Martin. The car then passed to my wife Françoise and myself in 2005. Since then, the car has been fully reconditioned and participated successfully five times in the BDC races at Silverstone, twice in Le Mans Classic, five times in the Flying Scotsman, from the Paris to Madrid, from Paris to Vienna and to many Belgian Veteran Car Club Meetings.
The original registration was YU 2264 and re-registered after the War to SH 8523.
In order to complete the history of this car, I would be pleased to obtain some photographs of the period when it sported the original Park Ward body and of the period when it was transformed, during or after the War, as a pick up truck.
Do you think you could help me?
Best regards,
Albert De Mey
