1927 Bentley 4½ Litre Vanden Plas Tourer
The original Bentley Company works demonstrator and one of only two from this series of twenty five production cars to survive with such a level of integrity. Extensively used by the company for 37,000 miles in the hands of the official works driver Frank Clement. Wonderful history and remarkable in detail, as verified in a recent report by Dr. Clare Hay. The sixth example produced by Bentley and retaining the original Vanden Plas body and fittings as specified on the works order which offers a fascinating and frankly surprising revelation into the manufacture of vintage Bentleys in period. Not only a matching numbered, original bodied tourer but with works history too and assured a warm welcome at any event.
