The Stanley Mann Racing website states: "This is the classic vintage Bentley. The Red Label Speed model by Van Den Plas still with her original body. In superb condition and drives perfectly... Fully serviced in our workshop and ready to drive away."

Michael Hay, in his book Bentley: The Vintage Years, 1997, states: "Vanden Plas body no. 1272. Engine SL 3051 ex ch. SL 3051 - eng RT 1540 in ch. 971."
