"In the early 1950s a flat in our house was let to a man called John Gull, a designer at DeHavilland Aircraft. He owned YO 5573 — resplendent in BRG. I have happy memories of riding in her as a small boy — and still have a photograph of the car taken in St Albans in (I think) 1951... The car was known as "Jane" at that time."
