More Info: According to original Vanden Plas Coachbuilder records, this car was originally fitted with Body No. 1546 with a Sporting 4-seater, long bonnet body. Car was delivered in Nov. 1929. But Vanden Plas also recorded in June 1931 that the same chassis was fitted with Body No. 1733 with a silent bloc Saloon; 2 shades blue body. Michael Hay, in his book Bentley: The Vintage Years, 1997, states: "Vanden Plas body no. 1546 - fitted to ST 3008. 1931. Vanden Plas saloon body no. 1733. fitted to this chassis. Now tourer (1972)."
