"The car is (now) owned by Roger and Peter Morton.

It was my father, Tom Morton, who purchased the car in 1961 from John Perry. My father stripped this car soon after. He sold the bare chassis only (chassis no. PM3257) to Hugh Harbens (then owner of chassis FS3616). We still have the engine, front axle, rear axle, steering box, seats, wings and vehicle registration book and are currently in the process of acquiring another chassis to put all the components back on to and restoring the car.

Previous owners were Raymond Lancashire 1953, Roy Albinson 1945 to 1953, Stark f Blakey 1945, Dudley King 1938, smith and hunter 1937, Roger Atcherley 1936, H C Paul & Co 1934, Jack Barclay 1934 and John Morrison 1928.

I am told by the BDC that this car was used in a Bulldog Drummond film where it was driven into a river. I am going through the films to try and find which one.

Currently (February 2016), the car is stripped, awaiting rebuild. I will get some photos and forward them to you."
