The car was purchased by me in early 2025, Since then it has undergone an extensive restoration with William Medcalf at Vintage Bentley, completed recently. We removed all the non original parts such as Hydraulic Brakes, Coil ignition, Power steering and Overdrive. Replaced with Period self wrapping brakes, original magneto's, upgraded rally spec clutch and rear diff. we sourced old lights and rewired the car to match. The engine was reunited with its original crankcase that accompanied the car when I purchased it and was rebuilt carefully to a high specification comfortably producing over 200bhp. We had a local blacksmith forge a detachable tow bar that bolts to the chassis to enable us to attach a bike rack to transport our bikes when on holiday. The car is used reguarly and travels to France for long stays in the summer months. It thunders along on long journeys eating the miles up as it goes!
