1929 Bentley 4½ Litre Saloon (Weymann)
Chassis No. NX3454
Engine No. NX3456
Registration No. UU 302
1929 4½ Litre Le Mans
Chassis Number NX 3454, Engine Number NX 3456.
This very unmolested, everything matching car is, without question, the best 4½ litre Bentley on the market. A superb specification - heavy chassis, self-wrapping brakes, plate clutch, original HVG 5 carburettors - combines with fabulous good looks and a meticulous 25-year present ownership.
Recent work includes a £20,000 engine top-end overhaul by Elmdown and a radiator recore by The Vintage Radiator Company, retaining the magnificent original German Silver shell.
A nice archive file accompanies the car, with copies of Factory Records, photograph as new and a copy of the original 1929 Sales Invoice.
