The complete restoration was done by the Hood family and some very spezialized and well known vintage expert companies, finalized in 2004. The original engine slept for 50 years, from 1953 to 2003, and was totally rebuilt to the original Speed Model spec.. The body was sent to a complete restoration on original basis. Still today this original body, made by Carbodies, is fitted and has its original wooden frame and aluminium covering. Everything is extremly well and 100% documented by hundreds of pictures, folders of invoices and written material.
