| More Info: | According to original Vanden Plas Coachbuilder records, this car was originally fitted with Body No. 1549; with a 10' 10" standard 4-seater Sports; blue body. Car was delivered in Feb. 1929. But Vanden Plas also recorded in Mar. 1929 that the same chassis was fitted with Body No. 1566; with a 4-door flexible Saloon; black body. Michael Hay, in his book Bentley: The Vintage Years, 1997, states: "D/6501. Vanden Plas body no. 1549." |
