| More Info: | According to original Vanden Plas Coachbuilder records, this car was originally fitted with Body No. 1501 with a 4-seater, replica of previous year's Le Mans car; 4/1928. Team car driven by Cook. Michael Hay, in his book Bentley: The Vintage Years, 1997, states: "D/7054. Vanden Plas body no. 1501. 1928 6 hours car. Accident 3/34 - rebuilt on new frame. Last heard of crated for export in Egypt 1948." |
