"1927 VDP 3 Litre Bentley Speed Model
Chassis No. LT1599 ~ Engine No. LT1600
This speed model is from the last year of production, benefiting from all the improvements that eventually went into the 4½ Litre. These include heavy gauge chassis, one piece sump and factory fitted higher ratio steering. The car also benefits from VDP open sports coachwork, fitted in 1934, as its second body.
The car is in exceptional condition and benefits from a painstaking meticulous restoration, concluding around 2006, by mark specialist Clive Oliver. Since then the car has had 2 careful owners who have looked after her with no expense spared.
The car benefits from unbroken continuous history, is in superb cosmetic and mechanical condition and is matching numbers throughout."
