"My grandparents, Jack & Madeline Leckie, once owned this Bentley. I believe they purchased the car in the late 40s or early 50s(?) and sold her in the 1970s(?). The photo was taken on the English coast, around Camber Sands in 1960 I think."

More Info: According to original Vanden Plas Coachbuilder records, this car was originally fitted with Body No. 1351 with a standard Sporting 4-seater; Weymann fabric; 3/1927. Michael Hay, in his book Bentley: The Vintage Years, 1997, states: "Vanden Plas body no. 1351. Accident 7/29 - new 9'9�" frame and front axle beam."
