"I am the son of Gerald Wild who restored the car and saved it from becoming scrap. He recently wrote a booklet ('Bentley on a Shoestring' By Gerald Wild) about his restoration of the car entitled "Bentley on a Shoestring". Hope this is of interest to you, he was delighted to see pictures of it racing at Le Mans and to see his name on the log book was the icing on the cake."
