"You may be interested in this photograph I've come across that I took at the Richard Seaman Memorial Trophy meeting at Oulton Park on June 1982. It's Tim Llewellyn approaching Lodge Corner in the Seaman Vintage Trophy race in his 1926/30 Bentley 3/8, apparently chassis LM1338."

"These photographs were taken at Cadwell Park Vintage Race in England in 1981. Car was owned at that time by David Llewellyn. For additional photographs see pgs. 62/63 of Bentley Specials & Special Bentleys, Vol. 1."

| More Info: | According to original Vanden Plas Coachbuilder records, this car was originally fitted with Body No. 1298 with a standard Sporting 4-seater; scratched aluminium / maroon; 7/1926. Michael Hay, in his book Bentley: The Vintage Years, 1997, states: "Vanden Plas body no. 1298. Harrison saloon then Morris lsis coupe now 2 seater. Competition car on 9'1" WB - 6� Litre engine WK 2656 ex ch. WK 2664 now 8 Litre engine based on block ex ch. YR 5081. Much modified - had de Dion rear end." |
