"To the old Bentley Brigade, this 1929 full factory spec Speed Six is from the famous LB batch of 25 cars including none other than old 'No. One', Wolf Barnato's Speed Six, winner of Le Mans in 1929 and in 1930.
Built and delivered in the same month as Wolf's car — May 1929 — this is possibly as near as you can get to the team car without paying team car prices.
Now, as there's no team Speed Sixes currently on the market and with old 'No. One' at one time worth a price of 10 million pounds this must be viewed as somewhat of a bargain.
This speed six has recently had £70,000 spent on her.
Brakes, total rebuilt to race spec, engine - full rebuild with Phoenix crank, new rods, new pistons, valves, etc, radiator rebuilt etc, etc. In fact, looking at the money spent this should prove a trouble free Bentley with years of fun motoring ahead.
A Bentley perfect for some serious rallying and brilliant set up for say the Peking to Paris?
