"In March of this year there was an event — The Holy Land 1000 Tour — fantastic event with one lonely 4½ litre participating. Have to say that it fascinated the Israelis who had not seen such a sight on their roads before. Here is a photo of the car at the Kotel - Old Jerusalem. Vary rare to allow any cars into this area."

Michael Hay, in his book Bentley: The Vintage Years, 1997, states: "D/7044. Vanden Plas body no. 1458. Reg ANF 190 rebuilt on ch. with eng XF3512 ex XF3513. Has spawned 2 cars - (1) ch. MF3163 Eng XF3512 ANF 190 then MN 600 Vanden Plas 4 seater in Germany (2) ch. KM3094 eng LM 1339 (rebuilt as 4½), Le Mans replica." |
