| More Info: | According to original Vanden Plas Coachbuilder records, this car was originally fitted with Body No. 1219 with a Short standard 4-seater; grey / black; 4/1926. Michael Hay, in his book Bentley: The Vintage Years, 1997, states: "Vanden Plas body now. 1219. A box new. Eng 916* ex ch. 904." *It should be noted that some sources incorrectly state that the car now has engine number '916', whereas it has always had the original unit, 'HP389'.
