1930 Bentley Speed Six Corsica Coupe. I.D.# HM2861: This very imposing coupe, bordering on the sinister in appearance, is on a late 1930 12' 8-1/2" wheelbase Speed Six chassis and was owned for many years by Hugh Young Esq., according to the caption by its photograph in the book, Bentley: The Vintage Years. A captivating and remarkable car in many ways, it has participated successfully in rallies in recent years in addition to its command performances at concours events and should, someday, be the featured car in a mystery movie.

"(HM2861) Hugh Young with his 1930 Corsica Sportsman's fhc. Hugh wrote, "Purchased in Wool, Dorset summer 1958. Sold summer 1975. Totally buggered since by an 'expert'. Present whereabouts unknown. Ursula and I brought the Speed Six to Canada in the summer of 1959, in the hold of the 'Pinemore' cargo ship on which we also travelled, i.e. returning to Canada after five years in the UK. We then drove it -- unrestored! -- from Montreal to Winnipeg via the US. That was a real adventure!."
