"My father owned this car probably in the early 1950s (purchased in 1948). As far as I can remember it had been owned by Margaret Allen, a racing driver who drove it at Brooklands and I believe, briefly held the lap record there."

FS3635 began its existence in 1931. It was previously 3 litre, 1922, EXP 4, a factory test car.
The car was burned out in November 1931 and the chassis was stamped FS3635 by the factory and became a 4� Litre.
