1929 Bentley 4.5 Le Mans
Chassis No. FB3312 was registered on 16th January 1929 to a gentleman named Captain J. P. Flood. The car has continuous history, all original log books, old V5 and current V5 included (original number plate from new!!). The car has extensive notes, letters and service history and requires nothing to be enjoyed.
The car, like all of these cars, was not originally Le Mans specifications bodied in period, but later added. This last restoration / rebody, chassis work, etc., were all carried out in 1993 by Stanley Mann. The car has been in the same private collection since then, to date 2006. The car has been serviced by Huckle Bros. for many years and has just been fully serviced and has just received a new radiator at a cost of circa £5K!
The car is stunning and drives without issue. It is fitted with an original cone clutch, not modern alternative 4 Speed.
Car has a wooden dashboard, is in correct British racing green, and is fitted with good Dunlop Racing tyres. The car is a 4.5 Litre on SU carbs and is noted to have original specs gearbox (Bentley 4 speed!)
It is U.K. road registered and and is registered with the Bentley Drivers Club.
