| More Info: | According to original Vanden Plas Coachbuilder records, this car was originally fitted with Body No. 1599 with a Sports 4-seater; black Weymann fabric; 7/1929. Michael Hay, in his book Bentley: The Vintage Years, 1997, states: "Vanden Plas body no. 1599. Rebuilt ca 1949 as H.M. Bentley style 2 seater reg UMD 184, chassis number given as WIL 123. Engine XF 3519 ex XF 3518. Since rebuilt with supercharger, Le Mans replica on 9'9�" chassis, body by Arley. Reg DS 7971 now reg VA 9006." |
