1929 Le Mans, chassis DS3557, Joel Laub
Chassis UV 3957 originally carried a saloon body by H.J. Mulliner. She was restored in 1997 by well known Bentley enthusiast Ulf Smith, a Swedish diplomat, on the Azore island of San Miguel, where he is honorary consul to the Azores. The car lay dismantled for years and required real Sherlock Holmes work to find its original components. Three years and 2,500 hours later, the job was completed. Joel purchased the car in 2000 and has since run several rallies and tours including a tour of the Azores with Ulf Smith.
