More Info: According to original Vanden Plas Coachbuilder records, this car was originally fitted with Body No. 1612 with a Le Mans/Ulster type, flare type wings; 7/1929. Michael Hay, in his book Bentley: The Vintage Years, 1997, states: "D/7192. Vanden Plas body no. 1612. "Le Mans model". Prepared by Bentleys for the 1930 Ulster TT 29/7/30 - finished 2nd in class and 12th overall. 1st in Mountain handicap 1930 Brooklands Whitsun meet and several first at Shelsey Walsh. Lapped Brooklands at 115 mph."
