More Info: Michael Hay, in his book Bentley: The Vintage Years, 1997, states: "B/1726. Rebuilt by Chambers as 2 seat (ex Le Mans Tracta) trials special reg FGC 996. Engine HF 3184 ex Bowler-Hofmann. Crashed and rebuilt, registered KSM 2. Then raced by Mountford, heavily drilled chassis, reg GL 1504. Was in South Africa - now for sale in UK. ?This car the Bowler-Hofmann rebuilt?"
