"The Red Label Bentleys Reg UA 1007 was owned by my father Joseph Leslie Cowland in between the wars. My Dad died in 2003 and I have just come across the typed Instruction book relating to UA 1007. My Dad has annotated it as 1927 which I guess is the date of the car. It's a fascinating book with instructions as to changing magnetos etc. It has 45 pages with a hand drawn maintenance description on a sort of cloth like paper at the end.
I wondered if the owner of this Bentley would like to buy it before I put it up for auction as I am sure that my father would love the two to be united again. My Dad raced at Brooklands and id many great things and owned many great cars."
