Michael Hay, in his book Bentley: The Vintage Years, 1997, states: "Vanden Plas body no. 1283. Competed in Shelsey Walsh Hill Climb 9/26. 4� Litre steering box and Borg and Beck clutch. Engine HT 1636 ex ch. HT 1632 - in USA." |
