Superb all-matching numbered 1927 3/4.5 litre Bentley
"1927 Speed Model Chassis BL1616, Engine BL1614. This great touring car has been up-rated to 4.5 litre engine capacity, with new crankshaft and rods, and is in the assiduous ownership of a well-known and highly regarded enthusiast. The car was fitted with its replica Vanden Plas style Sports coachwork many years ago and has since been fitted with vacuum-assisted brakes and overdrive. The performance and handling are exceptional and this car is ideal for long distance touring."

"I have loads (probably hundreds) of pictures of this car from when my father owned it from the 1950s until 1980. Would be interested to know why the reg number changed."

"Here is a pic of my Mother driving the car circa 1975. That's me in the passenger seat aged 2 or 3! My father owned the car I think from the late 1950s until 1980. During that time he raced the car in Gras Hill Climbs and rebuilt the engine and re-jigged the (fairly horrible) home-made body. He also rebuilt the engine some time in the late 1960s.

Lot of photos of this car when my father owned it."
