| More Info: | According to original Vanden Plas Coachbuilder records, this car was originally fitted with Body No. 1376 with a Sports 4-seater; Weymann black fabric / black; 5/1927. Michael Hay, in his book Bentley: The Vintage Years, 1997, states: "A/730. Vanden Plas body no. 1376. Used in 2 hour MCC trial at Brooklands and 1 hour reliability trial in September 1930 - Brooklands silencer lent by Bentley Motors. Registered CHX 34, fitted BS box 5086." |
