| More Info: | According to original Vanden Plas Coachbuilder records, this car was originally fitted with Body No. 1543 with a 4-seater Special body Le Mans type; 12/1928. Michael Hay, in his book Bentley: The Vintage Years, 1997, states: "D/7181. Vanden Plas body no. 1543. "25 gallon tank - outside gear lever". Rebuilt as Le Mans replica, Vanden Plas 4 seater reg YY 4959, eng MS 3953 ex MS 3950." |
