| More Info: | According to original Vanden Plas Coachbuilder records, this car was originally fitted with Body No. 1131 with a Sporting 4-seater; scratched aluminium/black; 2/1925. Michael Hay, in his book Bentley: The Vintage Years, 1997, states: "Vanden Plas body no. 1131. Was Salmons d/h coupe - that body now on chassis 242. This chassis now Vanden Plas replica - engine 1075 ex ch. 1079." According to Johnny Green, this coupe was removed from another 3 litre, to be fitted to chassis number 242, and registered KU 2274. (It was in the possession of M.R.B Way at some point.) |
