Hay's book about the trans? It had an 'A' box when we got it, NO evidence of any center shift or center brake lever, but we corrected years ago the note that it was shortened from 10'10" to 9' something (not 9" i think) the frame shows no weld/cut change marks at all, and current at 10'10". About 8 years ago we rebuilt the rear, with higher gearing, and went wtih a 'D' box — NICE. The 'A' box from this car has been sold — it went back to the UK, can look up the name if you need it.
We have had this car on all but 2 NAVBM's missed 2000 — the car was on the way to the UK for the big tour..."

I know that I bought the car for £350? but am not sure what I sold it for. It was sold to a dealer for around £1200?
I have very fond memories of it."
