Extract from article published in 'The Automobile', November 1992:

"This example was produced during the first production run of the model, so is an early example.
Originally fitted with a red two seat body by Cunard, who as far as is known, only built the one body on a Bentley, as they were closely allied to Napier.

Rebodied in the early 1950s with the fabric Vanden Plas replica 4 seat body that it retains. The wings were fitted as temporary replacements for some rather strange cycle mudguards, but have stood the test of time and add character to the car."

Owned by Julian Bolton in 1992.

"I have a full list of owners of this Bentley KC 8371, from 1925 until Ian Sutcliffe in 1957. He owned it until about 1980/1990."
