| More Info: | According to original Vanden Plas Coachbuilder records, this car was originally fitted with Body No. 1109 with a standard 4-seater Sports; scratched aluminium/black; 1/1925. Michael Hay, in his book Bentley: The Vintage Years, 1997, states: "Vanden Plas body no. 1109. Rebuilt by R R Hall 1951 - H M Bentley style 2 seater reg XMC 471 now reg MH 99. D box. Engine was XL 3122 ex XL 3123 now in SL 3061 - engine of 844 now?" |
