Regarding owners
New in Australia to A J Turdich

Possible Clive Turdich in the 1930s

By 1940s John Barraclough

1951 Noel Coldray*

Late 1950s Richard Knight*

1959 Allan Jones*

1972 sold at Auction, possibly to Murray Rainey

Shipped to UK and owned by John Coombs who did not register it with the DVLA until 1993

1994 Sold to Chris Godwin

1995 Sold to Rob James

2004 to John Murch

*In 1957 Noel Coldray sold Chassis 602 together with a second 'parts' car to Richard Knight, the two cars were sold on to Allan Jones in 1959. Allan rebuilt 602 but utilised some parts from the 'parts' car, including rear axle and engine, before selling it on. I note from the recent 3rd edition of Clare Hay's book The Vintage Years, that Chassis 990 has the banjo numbered 602, Ch 602 is now fitted with engine 612 which was in Chassis 990 in the 1950s It seems possible therefore that 990 was the parts car sold by Allan Jones.
