"New Zealand Rolls-Royce & Bentley club member John Vallings in his 1924 3/4½ litre Vanden Plas Tourer, chassis 590. In 1938, 4½ litre engine NX3474 was fitted, together with a 4½ litre radiator and cycle wings."

More Info: According to original Vanden Plas Coachbuilder records, this car was originally fitted with Body No. 1052 with a standard Sports 4-seater; broken white and red; 6/1924. Michael Hay, in his book Bentley: The Vintage Years, 1997, states: "Vanden Plas body no. 1052. Reg OAF 492 - in NZ 3474 ex ch. NX 3470."
