"This photograph was taken by me in 1966 at Hoghton Tower, Lancashire, at the start of the "Castle Run". The cars drove from Hoghton Tower to Clitheroe Castle, ascending Pendle Hill on the way. The car was owned by two brothers, one of whom knew my father. The owners thought that the four-seater touring body had been fitted in the 1930s, but I have no other details about it."
"I was twelve years old at the time, and took the photo with my Agfa Isolette rollfilm camera which I had been given for my eleventh birthday. My father, who gave me the camera, is the man smoking a pipe, standing behind the bullnose Morris."
