These photographs (of the stunningly beautiful 3 liter Park Ward Landaulette) were taken in the UK while it was enjoying a very sympathetic refurbishment to period condition by the Pearces at the Butts Works in Wisborough Green in West Sussex.

The result is what a sympathetic period restoration can yield if an owner resists a "complete rotisserie" job. A great deal of thought and effort went into the scope and nature of the job and the results speak for themselves. It is surely one of the very few formal bodies remaining on a 3 liter chassis that is original to the car and is in superb mechanical and cosmetic condition. It is a true visual feast!

Chassis No. 478 now lives in the USA and is owned by a BDC and RROC member.

The whole car was restored some years ago by a fastidious owner who has rallied it extensively since, while mantaining it constantly to the same high standards. The perfect compliment to a collection of racers.
