1924 Bentley 3 Litre TT Coupe
Chassis No. 360
Engine No. 358
Registration No. XP 8879
1923 Tourist Trophy 3 litre Bentley, originally the property of H.R.H. The Duke of Kent.
This truly delightful Short Chassis Tourist Trophy 3 litre was Prince George's first Bentley. He was to become a real Bentley devotee, later purchasing, in turn, a Speed Six, an 8-litre and a 3.5 litre. Chassis# 360, Engine# 861 was originally a very pretty Park Ward Doctor's Coupe. At some point in its life, the original body was replaced with a four-seater sports. Richard Moss, the doyen of the quality Bentley restorers, was commissioned to recreate and rebuild the car exactly as it was originally. The car is a delight to behold and to drive. Its original B Type gearbox has been replaced with the better-ratio A Type. The attention to detail and the superb condition, along with the Royal provenance, make this a very cherishable and enchanted early 3 litre. £135,000
