"1924 BENTLEY 3 /4½LTR LE MANS
Registration Number: XP 5238 Chassis Number: 352 Engine Number: DS3558
Price: £365000

XP 5238 a long chassis 3 Litre Bentley, originally supplied to a member of the Harmsworth family - newspaper proprietors of Daily Mail fame in 1923.

½Litre engine - universally acknowledged as probably the most acceptable upgrade (as carried out by the works in 1927) - for fast road or touring use and fitted with the appropriate radiator so she stays cool, overdrive, 4½ ltr light steering and all mechanical components totally rebuilt. This extends to the road springs being correctly set and tempered and new road wheels fitted with Blockley tyres to ensure first class ride and handling."
