My first car purchased from George Burton when I qualified. Passed to my son Tim Newton (Car assembly manager at Williams F1) as present owner.

- Body Gurney Nutting.

- Original VDP was replaced after earlier accident Was shown in log book as scratched aluminium.

- 4mm taken off block in earlier years and taller pistons fitted.

- Brakes converted to hydraulic 1956 and Clayton Dewandre booster fitted.

- Engine oil reservoir booster fitted to provide lubrication from moment engine is fired up

- Car still on 21 inch wheels.

- Electric fan fitted to rebuilt radiator in 2003.

More Info: According to original Vanden Plas Coachbuilder records, this car was originally fitted with Body No. 3265 with a sporting 4-seater; scratched aluminium and green; 8/1923. Michael Hay, in his book Bentley: The Vintage Years, 1997, states: "Vanden Plas body no. 3265. "1/26 - 1926 mods carried out." Hydraulic brakes."
