"I can photograph bits rescued from my 1923 3 Litre which is stuck in India as it can't be exported if you'd like photos of those."

"This car is in a dilapidated condition in India where it was sent from new. I was given this in 2002 because of my interest in Vintage Bentleys. The dashboard plate is here in Finland along with other things I rescued when I found the car itself. The car CANNOT be repatriated for restoration because ANY car registered in India pre 1947 may not leave the country. As a missionary I can't take the risk of losing my visa! Proof of ownership and history I can provide if required (in a somewhat larger box!).
In my humble opinion, the 3 Litre (photos below) which CLAIMS this number is a post war re-registration for tax purposes. Details of original and subsequent ownership can be provided.
I'm a member of the BDC."
